Fountain Syringe Number 2 Economy, Cara's Fountain Syringe economy size is recommended for use as a personal hygiene and enema system.Fountain Syringe Number 2 Economy.2 quart (1900 mL) syringe bag.

Directions:

  • Preparing Douche:Slide shut-off clamp onto tubing.
    • Slip plain end of tubing onto bottom of syringe bag.
    • Slip vaginal pipe into other end of tubing.
    • Slide shut-off clamp towards end of tubing near syringe bag and clamp shut.
    • Fill syringe bag 2/3 full with warm water. Add liquid or powder preparation (if desired). Hold top of bag shut and gently shake to mix. Suspend bag about 3 feet above vagina.
    • Release shut off clamp to expel air in tubing before inserting vaginal pipe.
  • Douching Procedure:To Use in Shower: Stand with feet apart.
    • Gently insert vaginal pipe into the vagina.
    • Release shut-off clamp to permit the solution to flow gently.
    • To Use in Bathtub:Recline in tub, knees slightly bent apart.
    • Gently insert vaginal pipe into the vagina.
    • Release shut-off clamp to permit the solution to flow gently.
  • To Use on Toilet: Lift one thigh while in seated position.
    • Gently insert vaginal pipe into the vagina.
    • Release shut-off clamp to permit the solution to flow gently.
  • Simple Enema Use: Slide shut-off clamp onto tubing.
    • Slip plain end of tubing onto bottom of syringe bag.
    • Slip enema pipe into the other end of tubing.
    • Slide shut-off clamp towards end of tubing near syringe bag and clamp shut.
    • Fill syringe bag 2/3 full with warm water and enema preparation (if desired).
    • Apply lubricating jelly to enema pipe.
    • Suspend syringe bag about 3 feet above hips.
    • Release clamp to expel air in tubing before inserting enema pipe.
  • To Use in Bathtub:Recline in tub with knees drawn up.
    • Gently insert lubricated enema pipe into rectum.
    • Release shut-off clamp to permit solution to flow gently.
    • To Use on Toilet- Sit on toilet and lean forward slightly.
    • Gently insert lubricated enema pipe into rectum.
    • Release shut-off clamp to permit solution to flow gently.
  • Retention Enema: Follow your physician's instructions.
  • After use and storage:Before storage, rinse syringe thoroughly with lukewarm water.
    • Hang open syringe upside down to drain and air-dry.
    • Store syringe flat, in dark, cool, dry place.
    • Do not place heavy or sharp objects on top of syringe.
