Description:
When nausea, vomiting or irritability make oral fever products too hard for your child to take, FeverAll can help. FeverAll is a suppository form of acetaminophen, a common fever remedy you may already know and trust.
Directions:
How to put FeverAll® to work
1. When practical, clean the area around the rectum with mild soap and warm water, and rinse thoroughly. Gently dry by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or a soft cloth.
2. Detach one suppository from the strip.
3. Remove wrapper before inserting suppository by holding suppository upright and carefully peeling wrapper evenly down both sides of the suppository. Avoid excessive handling as the suppository is designed to melt at body temperatures. There is no need to refrigerate this product if stored below 80º F (27º C).
4. Position the child flat on back or on one side, with anal opening exposed.
5. Gently insert the suppository well into the rectum. Use fingertip to complete insertion.
6. If necessary, hold buttocks together for 30–60 seconds to keep suppository in place.
Indications / Uses:
FeverAll® brings the fever-fighting power of acetaminophen to children who
* Don’t like the taste of an oral medication
* Are nauseous or vomiting
* Have allergies or other negative reactions to additives in liquids or drops
Dosage:
1 suppository every 4-6 hours
No more than a total of 6 suppositories in any 24 hour period.
