Sterile. 4 x 4 Inch. 2 Per wrapper. Rayon/Polyester Blend. For cleaning wounds and applying medication. Greater absorbency than ordinary woven gauze. Less linting for cleaner wound sites. Hospital products for home care. Johnson & Johnson Mirasorb Gauze Sponges are ideal for use in cleaning and prepping light-to-moderately draining wounds. Sterile unless individual wrapper is opened or damaged. Made in China.
Ingredients:
Rayon/Polyester Blend.
Directions:
Clean and Medicate: Wash hands thoroughly using soap. Rinse and dry with a clean towel. Pick up a Johnson & Johnson Mirasorb Gauze (Rayon/Polyester Blend) Sponge by one end and dip it into the cleansing solution recommended by your medical professional. Clean wound by stroking gently in a circular motion. Do not scrub back and forth, especially across incision line. Repeat process using clean Mirasorb Gauze Sponge until entire wound is cleaned. Pat dry using Mirasorb Gauze Sponge. Use clean Mirasorb Gauze Sponge to apply medication as directed by your medical professional. Protect: Dress the cleaned and medicated wound using clean dressing sponges or all-purpose dressings as a primary dressing layer.
Cautions:
Please contact your medical professional if: healing does not progress in seven days or in the event of unexpected changes; you have a serious burn, or deep or puncture wound.
