Directions:

Insert suppository well up into rectum. Suppository need not melt completely to produce laxative action. Single daily dosage: Adults and children 6 years and over: 1 suppository. Fleet Child Suppositories are available for children 2 to under 6 years. Store container tightly closed. Keep away from excessive heat.

For relief of occasional constipation. Generally produces a bowel movement in 15 minutes to 1 hour.

Cautions:

May cause rectal discomfort or a burning sensation. For rectal use only. Do not use laxative products when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present unless directed by a physician. If you have noticed a sudden change in bowel movement habits that persists over a period of 2 weeks, consult a physician before using a laxative. Laxative products should not be used for a period longer that 1 week unless directed by a physician. Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative may indicate a serious condition; discontinue use and consult a physician. Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, get medical help right away.
