Description:
Bisacodyl delayed-release tablets. Overnight relief guaranteed. Sodium-free. Sodium Content: Less than 0.2 mg/tablet.
Ingredients:
Active Ingredient (in each Tablet): Bisacodyl USP (5 mg). Inactive Ingredients: Calcium Sulfate, Carnauba Wax, Confectioner's Sugar, Croscarmellose Sodium, Dibasic Calcium Phosphate, Gelatin, Kaolin, Magnesium Stearate, Methacrylic Acid Copolymer, Polyethylene Glycol, Powdered Cellulose, Pregelatinized Starch, Silicon Dioxide, Sucrose, Talc, Titanium Dioxide, White Wax.
Directions:
Follow dosage or use as directed by a doctor. Adults and Children 12 Years of Age and Over: 1 to 3 tablets (usually 2) in a single daily dose. Children 6 to 12 Years of Age: 1 Tablet in a single daily dose. Children 6 Years of Age: Consult a doctor. Store at temperatures not above 86 degrees F (30 degrees C). Avoid excessive heat.
Indications / Uses:
For relief of occasional constipation (irregularity). This product generally produces a bowel movement in 6 to 12 hours.
Cautions:
Do not use in children under 6 years of age; if you can't swallow without chewing; for a period longer than 1 week, unless directed by a doctor. Ask a doctor before use if you have stomach pain, nausea, or vomiting; a sudden change in bowel habits that persist over 2 weeks. When using this product do not use within 1 hour after taking an antacid or milk; do not chew or crush tablets; you may have stomach discomfort, faintness and cramps. Stop use and ask a doctor if you need to use a laxative for more than 1 week; your fail to have a bowel movement or have rectal bleeding. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
