Set by holding hands under cold running water. Pat dry. Helps provide protection for approximately 3 to 4 hours under normal usage. Georgetown hospital used Kerodex 71 on my preemie - for the rare occasions when he had diaper rash. It was wonderful. Now he's 2 years old and recent bouts of diarrhea prompted me to order a new tube. My baby was red and raw, I used the creme -- and by the next morning he was all healed. This protective creme really allowed him to heal quickly.
