- Ingredients
- Active Ingredients: Each Extra Strength Lozenge Contains Phenol (29 mg). Inactive Ingredients: Antifoam Emulsion, Caramel, Eucalyptus Oil, Gum Crystal, Menthol, and Sorbitol. Each Lozenge Contributes Approximately 8 Calories From 2 Grams of Sorbitol. Menthol Eucalyptus Flavor Cepastat Lozenge Contains Twice the Amount of Active (Phenol) as Cherry Cepastat Lozenges.
- Directions
- Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Allow the lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth. May be repeated every 2 hours, not to exceed 18 lozenges per day, or as directed by a dentist or physician. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: Allow lozenge to dissolve slowly in the mouth. May be repeated every 2 hours, not to exceed 10 lozenges per day, or as directed by a dentist or physician. Children under 6 years of age: Consult a dentist or physician. Store at room temperature, below 86F (30C). Protect contents from humidity.
- Suggested Uses
- For fast, temporary relief of minor sore throat pain.
- Warnings
- If sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting, consult a physician promptly. Do not exceed recommended dosage. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
